Its too common now days to be noticed so far, we see daily many of the future generation holders hardly of the Age group six to twelve roaming here an there on the streets ,starving for food , clothes and much more. Its now a daily issue when many of these children are found to be abused sometimes sexually ,sometimes mentally and sometimes economically. We all know about that very famous ' child right educational law' isn't we? Which says that under fourteen year child can't be included under slavery , and even it mention that 'virtual' free education for them till fourteen. Isn't it amazing Or shameful that we all know this already but I don't know how many private sectors still practice the under fourteen slavery and still there hardly any free education for children and if any ,then the quality of education is much backward as compared to the urban sectors schools.
53% children in India are supressed under some kind of sexual abuse . Isn't it an alarming measure . Not only Sexual abuse, but also there are many more branches of it like Economic Abuse also holds an alarming percentage these days . For example, you may come cross many of the innocent faces working for food and money, on our daily basis we find child trafficking, many of the child beggars , not only begging for their starving hunger but actually for the cunning and cruel minds behind them. The children on the streets are not only harassed economically but also under highest risk of Sexual and Physical Abuse.
What we do, we avoid and we walk away, as it becomes the routine now. But we,need an immediate wake up , there are Numbers for child care in India which is 1098 awarded by the government to protect the child abuse and explanation, we need not only to save the number but actually call and inform, I know it will not be an easy target to deal as due to the Beaurocritical Delays in India, when you call them , it might be possible that they will not react immediately but what we have to do is call n call until they receive and imply what is right for the children you reported.
Child abuse is one of the major Social issue. It not only hampers the generational security for the future of the nation but actually effects the Crime rates in India , For example Stealing food and getting into fights with others can be a common struggle that a child with Chronic hunger will do. For that even many of the culprits who make children their slaves,punish them brutally if the children's are caught stealing something for their hunger and starvation.
Malnutrition, illiteracy, poverty and increasing crime rates are some of the mentioned and direct outcomes from child abuse, yet there are many more unsung and indirect effects of child abuse in India.
So, If we want a better society, a better leaders for future generation,
If we dream for a Vibrant and powerful India , we have to first shape the youth by shaping their Safe Childhood.
